He decides to rebrand Telecom to Spark in a last ditched effort to save the company from collapse.
| 00:00 - 00:03 | The Yahoo email servers have been compromised |
| 00:04 - 00:05 | The compromised servers are located |
| 00:05 - 00:07 | At Yahoo's datacentres here, and here. |
| 00:08 - 00:12 | Multipule accounts have been hacked by spammers |
| 00:12 - 00:15 | Spam is being sent from our customers email addresses |
| 00:17 - 00:19 | Well just ditch Yahoo |
| 00:19 - 00:21 | And use our servers |
| 00:24 - 00:26 | Sir... |
| 00:27 - 00:28 | Telecom... |
| 00:31 - 00:33 | Hasnt had any email servers running for at least 7 years |
| 00:34 - 00:36 | They were scrapped after working with MSN |
| 00:53 - 00:58 | Anyone using Gmail, Hotmail or Mailchimp, leave the room |
| 01:13 - 01:15 | What the hell were they thinking? |
| 01:15 - 01:17 | Scrapping our perfectly good rendundant servers? |
| 01:18 - 01:23 | What do we have to go back on? |
| 01:25 - 01:28 | Now we are stuck with Yahoo! |
| 01:29 - 01:31 | This is the 4th time this has happened! |
| 01:31 - 01:34 | Do you think our customers are that stupid? |
| 01:34 - 01:37 | Our customers will be starting to leave in droves! |
| 01:37 - 01:40 | Once is bad enough, but 4 times!? |
| 01:40 - 01:42 | We've disabled all accounts affected |
| 01:42 - 01:46 | Oh, thats great, now our call centres will be overloaded! |
| 01:46 - 01:48 | It was our only option, we cant just leave hackers have access. |
| 01:48 - 01:52 | Whats the point? Once they have got access thats it! |
| 01:53 - 01:54 | All Xtra accounts will be blacklisted by SPAM filters |
| 01:56 - 01:57 | We have given Yahoo enough chances! |
| 01:57 - 02:00 | Now the spammers have a database with half our customers addresses! |
| 02:00 - 02:03 | Not to mention their address books! |
| 02:04 - 02:08 | We are going to be the laughing stock |
| 02:08 - 02:13 | Of all the ISP's in New Zealand! |
| 02:14 - 02:16 | Havnt of you learnt from the days of Theresa Gattung!? |
| 02:17 - 02:21 | We were then known as Telecon, now we are being called Telescum! |
| 02:27 - 02:29 | Our only option left is a rebrand |
| 02:30 - 02:34 | perhaps then, we may be able to |
| 02:34 - 02:36 | save what little reputation we have left |
| 02:41 - 02:42 | Whos idea was it? |
| 02:43 - 02:47 | Too much of this running in without thinking |
| 02:48 - 02:53 | We should never have worked with MSN |
| 02:54 - 02:56 | let alone Yahoo! |
| 02:56 - 02:59 | Now we have to spend millions |
| 03:00 - 03:02 | On a new datacenter and PR campaigns! |
| 03:04 - 03:07 | Its OK, we are on Gmail |
| 03:14 - 03:16 | Changing our name will take time |
| 03:19 - 03:23 | We cant just change it overnight |
| 03:25 - 03:26 | The PR campaign will start tomorrow |
| 03:31 - 03:33 | With an announcement on Facebook |
| 03:40 - 03:46 | We will rebrand Telecom and change its name to Spark |
| 03:46 - 03:49 | This is our last chance to get things right |
| 03:53 - 03:56 | If we are lucky, some naive customers will return... |
