Well here we are again...
...it's mid-April 2019...
...the current Pro Tools release is 2018.12
and we are still fixing bugs.
When we can't keep up with...
Studio One Pro, Logic, Cubase and other DAWs
The guys from Pro Tools Expert...
...just wrote a blog titled...
"How We Would Change The Product Strategy If We Were Avid"
They say there is a fault line running through the Pro Tools product line.
Product managers stay behind, the rest leave the room.
You call this innovation? What about plugins and Vis!
We can't even get ARA going for Melodyne integration
And why can't I click and drag on the timeline to zoom in and out?
We cheaped out by hiring developers from East Europe...
Our headquarters is in Burlington, Massachusetts!
We don't even support Mac OS Mojave yet!
And our last two CEOs robbed us blind!
We haven't put out hardware in years!
Even after the success of the Eleven Rack!
AAX DSP plugins? Who makes them?
Not Waves! So why not support SoundGrid?
You can't even import FLAC or Apple m4a into Pro Tools
And you still need a wrapper to use VST3 or AU plugins!
Have we put out any cool videos on YouTube about our future plans?
Not even a webinar?
When was the last time any of you posted on the DUC?
Any of you!!
All we seem to care about is fixing buggy software...
and charging people a yearly fee for that!
And making them pay full price if their subscription lapses!
No wonder people tell us daily they're leaving us for another DAW!
I thought after we ditched Hernadez things were gonna get better!
But it's been another year!
And we still have a product from 2018 out there!
We don't even make the installation process as easy as...
Toontrack, Waves, XL Audio etc...
What does that even mean!?
How much longer can this go on?
Did we learn nothing from the time we got delisted?
Why did we let go so many devoted employees?
And forget about all levels of users, not just the wealthy ones...
...who don't care at all about features.
We thought we could be like Adobe.
Instead we've got no DSP and intolerable crashes with latency
Everyone just go home!
